Updated 2021–03–04: For Ubuntu 20.04, need to change from bionic to focal, and version of extension. I made a write-up particularly for Ubuntu 18.04 including 18.04.1–18.04.4 iterations. Sometimes official documentation is hard to follow, especially if you want to test something only or just get started. Install VirtualBox 6.1 on Ubuntu 18.04 or 20.04 via Official repository + web GUI
